The 2011 AQHA Region Seven Championship is at a close, wrapping up four days of American Quarter Horse competition, August 18-21, at the Blackhawk Arena in Salina, Utah. By the last show day, the combined entries for the Regional Championship and the AQHA double-judged pointed show had swelled to more than 920 (unofficial), up from 2010.

Don’t forget! The top three finishers in each class at this year’s Region Seven receive an automatic invitation to the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association Novice Championship Show October 14.

The hunt for the high-point titles for each division went down to the last speed event classes, with the standings not known until the final tally. Here are the talented horses and riders who won the all-around awards in their respective divisions.
