Seems to me the number of circles must be subtracted, not added, from the ML odds to get a horse’s score to identify and rank the contenders. Even better, why not subtract the circles from the near post-time odds instead of ML odds. That’s the way I would play it. Good luck to all!

dont really understand the point system in the minute handicapping…looked at a race to try, have a runner ml 2/1 with cirle for owner, total of 3, another runner ml 8/1 with and 2 cirlces jockey and trainer, total of 10, so just bet the runner with total of 10 to win? also in another race runner ml 4/5 with no circles, is that runners total 4 so don’t bet that one….
