Say hello to Baxter Black, D.V.M.
While the AQHA World Championship Show continues in Oklahoma City, the work doesn’t stop here in the office. We’re busy putting together the December issue of The American Quarter Horse Journal and trying to fill in for our co-workers who are at the show.
But everyone was willing to stop working and take a few minutes when humorist Baxter Black came to call. Baxter’s column appears in the ranching section of the Journal, and artist Gabriel Trevizo draws a cartoon to go with the column.
Gabe has been with AQHA for 22 years, and you’ve probably seen his work in every issue of the Journal. Look at the picture and see whether you think he captured Baxter in the caricature that will appear in December’s Journal.
Baxter must think so – he autographed it for Gabe.
