I guess that includes AQHA Novice points as well? So if you receive Novice points the prior year you would not qualify for this award?

I won the Justin Rookie award as a youth 12-14 in South Carolina in 2007. I know theres a scholarship award and I was wondering how I go about claiming it.

My daughter has been in the running this year for the rookie of the year. She is currently tied for 2nd place. Her horse just got diagnosed with a severe case of navicular(?) in his right front foot. The vet said it was the worst case he has ever seen. We are not even sure we can make him sound at this point. We are starting some measures to make him feel better. My question is this…if she continues to compete on another horse does she have to start over with her points?

I would like to know what is the best place to resarch about what are the best shows to go to. I am trying to lay out a road map on whear to go. I live in GA and would like to find the best shows to hit to make me competitive at the title.

I am wondering if I am able to show in Open Classes at an AQHA and still qualify for the Justin Rookie Award starting next year? I was thinking of doing the open lungeline class with our filly but do not want to jeopardise my chance at the JR award.
