Is there any way for non-facebook users to enter this sweepstakes? I don’t use facebook and have many AQHA friends who don’t either, but we would like the opportunity to enter the contest if possible.

I whole heartedly am in the same mindframe as Maria. Also not a facebook fan…nor plan to be, ever! i believe you alienate many non facebook folks by this, and we are many….Also in the future would you also make your contest/sweepstakes open to your faithful canadian/other countries AQHA members, thank you.We also deserve to be counted!

I agree I feel alienated because I don’t do facebook. I barely have time to check e-mail, to busy with the horses when not working.

Many times we have to restrict sweepstakes/contest eligibility to US only because of the strict contest laws in several Canadian provinces. While these laws are intended to protect the citizens of the participating Canadian provinces, they also create financial/resource burdens to sweepstakes/contest sponsors, and the consequences for a mistake can be severe. Rather than run the risk of facing legal action if the oftentimes long and complicated rules are not followed to the letter, many sponsors choose to make their contests void in Canada. We hope you’ll understand.

I am in agreement with Maria, Maggie and Doreen in that I do not use Facebook and I think that companies and organizations that have contests only for Facebook users is discriminating. I also do not plan on being a Facebook fan since I think Facebook is only for gossipers and not very safe.

I’m having trouble trying to enter. It won’t pull up the form. I already like AQHA on fb, so does that mean I’m automatically entered? Please fix the entry form access

I’m also in total agreement with Maria, Maggie & Doreen’s comments..
I too, do not have the time to be on ‘social media’ sites..
For those of us who have jobs, families, pets and horses, time is a commodity we cannot afford to squander ….
As non-FaceBook users, we ARE being discriminated against…

Is there any way to enter AQHA contests besides Facebook applications? I have Facebook but don’t use any applications.

I can access the entry form to enter on Facebook, but it wont let me actually submit it, there is nothing to click that says “submit” or enter or anything. . . please let me know (by email) how to enter!

I would very much like to enter the contest BUT I do not do Faceboook.
Please go back to plain old email or at least offer that as a choice for those of us who do not use Facebook.
One issue for me is the fact that even though I do not use Facebook, I am constantly receiving alerts from the Facebook management concerning people sending me mail!

When I took a “second” look at the emails and saw that the contest is only for Facebook fans, I immediately was not happy. This is discriminating and very unfair. I am very, very, very unhappy with this matter.
