I have 2 Thoroughbred that can be used as nurse mares. They are open & ready to be weaned from their foals. We are located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Call Doreen at 407-952-1270

I had an orphan filly . Thank goodness that she got 23 hrs w/her momma. She is now a BIG 13 yrs old mare who has had 2 babies of her own PLUS nursed 2 other foals as well. The product that I used was Mare's Milk Plus from Buckeye. What I loved about it was that you could mix it cold and let it hang for 12 hours at a time. The benefit of cold made it a little bitter after awhile to keep them from gorging themselves and getting the bloating belly look. I had compliments all the time because she didn't look like an orphan. She was bigger than most of the foals her age . I tried to get her to mesh with her sisters and they babysat her much to her dismay. She thought she was a person. I did break her and for an orphan she has become a good horse. It takes alot of work but I am really proud of her.
