Reference to tip 1, we are fortunate enough to bale large round bales and 4 of my herd of 5 eat from those bales in the winter time. This way those 4 can eat what they want to stay warm and I only have to haul square bales to my oldest baby, "Georgia Little Too", who just turned 22 and is in the barn with the cats!
