Wonderful article! ‘SOMEONE’ has to breed for soundness and confirmation to make a useable horse, whether it is on the track or in the arena. It is people like Dr. Fisch that will protect the
future of the Q.H. breed.

I think the article would have been much more interesting if Dr. Fisch would have said why he chooses which pedigrees and what kind of conformation he is looking for instead of about common knowledge information.

Great article! The Quarter Horse needs more breeders like this who understand genetics and the dynamics of breeding for the future integrity of the breed.
