What can you expect from EquiPass?
You and your family are covered with this service, as well as ANY vehicle, RV or horse trailer you may be hauling. The following benefits are included.
- 24/7 Road service coverage includes unlimited towing, tire assistance, fuel delivery and emergency fluids, locksmith service, jumpstarts, mobile mechanic (a mechanic comes to you if you can’t get to one) and service appointment assistance (EquiPass will contact the nearest qualified service technician and set up a service appointment for you).
- Equestrian Concierge Services include veterinary referral services, stabling and boarding, farrier referral services, hotel and lodging reservations, restaurant referrals and reservations, feed and tack services, horse show information and requirements and riding lesson and trainer referral.

I would be interested in this service if I knew it also covered hauling my horses to a safe location to wait for my vehicle tow. No one at EquiPass will give me a straight answer and the info they sent does not cover this. Doesn’t seem to be of much help to have towing service if the horses I am hauling will be left on the roadside waiting for a Good Samaritan to happen along and pick us up! Can you find out if hauling horses when a vehicle is towed is covered? Who do they call for this service? I will want to see it in writing from EquiPass. Thank you!

USRider, which is probably the best known of the equestrian roadside assistance services, states that they will tow your trailer with the horses in it,unless it is no longer safe to do so. If that is the case, then they will arrange alternate transportation. They are emphatic about “not leaving your horses stranded”. I would assume that this plan would also offer that kind of provision. If so,I would definitely be interested as well. It would certainly give a great deal of peace of mind to many of us who haul our horses any kind of distance.

I, too, am interested in this program (I currently have USRider) but need an answer to the question raised about towing the trailer and/or trucking any horses to a safe location if the tow vehicle or trailer is disabled.
Additionally, does this plan replace roadside assistance for family members driving regular cars, or is it only for people towing trailers? I have AAA for my family and would replace both of my programs with this one, if it also covers my family members in their cars.
Thanks!

EquiPass offers all-inclusive coverage for your horse trailers, RVs and personal automobiles (including motorcycles). All benefits are applicable to the member, spouse and his/her dependents (children under the age of 25).
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, EquiPass will arrange for and cover the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest qualified service facility and your trailer (loaded or not) to the nearest safe location.
I do apologize if our coverage was not made clear during previous contact with EquiPass. Please contact our Membership Sales Department at 888-460-0523 for more details or to enroll.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!

I am shocked beyond shocked that the AQHA supported NorCal Equestrian Rescueby buying them a Gator. They are not only a horrible rescue that does not even give animals basic care like shots or worming or proper feed and water but they have done nothing but bash the AQHA for breeding and racing. They are vehemently against slaughter of any animal that flies in the face of what most of us Quarter Horse owners support. What the hell were you people thinking? I think you better research who you donate to and I for one will never pay another registration or show fee again.
