Where are all the cowboy horse trainers who use the rope then choke to teach the horse to come off pressure? I don't see any trainer advertizing the ropem-chokem-yankem method. You know, practice roping then choke the horse like a dog. While yanking the horse off his/her front end. No commands or praising. Isn't that the best way to teach a horse to come off pressure? Or slow down? Ropem and chokem style. Rope, choke and yank will teachem fast too! Where is all the rodeo style ropem, chokem, yankem, spur raking horse training info? I can't find it on the web but the rodeoers do it. Why is it not listed anywhere on the web? Yeehaw!

I have a 9 month old that is going to be gelded in 2 days. He bites... when we get after him, he will start biting himself or whatever is handy.. a fence, lead rope.. whatever... This behavior has made it very very hard to work with him.. He just seems to need something in his mouth.. !! What do you recommend..?

Bryan Neubert is one of the most steadfast and caring horseman / clinician I have been fortunate to see in action.....excellent and talented braider as well and far too modest about the things he excels at. Martha
