July 9, 2010

The first full day of competition for the 2010 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup wrapped up with showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, western riding, trail, hunter under saddle and hunt seat equitation.

Team USA rider Katy Krshka, left, waits with her friend, Team United Kingdom rider Jessie Leach. Katy won the gold medal in showmanship, while Jessie won the silver.
