		<description>One rule that disqualifies a rider is the use of two hands on the reins.  If using a snaffle bit, crossing over the neck with the outside rein is counter-productive and dangerous and should not be encouraged even by the Western Rider.  

I can see the point if the bit is a solid piece.</description>
