CSHA members adapted their Trail Trial rules from Equestrian Trials Inc. (ETI) about 20 years ago. Holly Clanahan from AQHA came to Sylmar CA in the spring of 2001 to compete and write about the Trail Trial Jane Geyer put on. After Holly's article came out in America's Horse, Jane and ETI received calls from almost every state wanting her to put on a clinic or explain how to do it or send a video. It took about seven years but ETI finally has a DVD to explain the Trail Trial rules. The ETI main office in Sylmar can be reached at (818) 362-6819 or ETI@etinational.com. We'd be happy to share a copy with you.
