Team Wrangler rides again!

The 2009 Team Wrangler competition wrapped up with Team Cowboy Cut on top. The exhibitors on that team bagged 800 credits during the 2009 show and racing season. Team Riata came in second and Team 20X finished third.
Team Wrangler is a year-long competition featuring the leading point-earning AQHA Professional Horsemen from racing and showing; it pits three teams of 12 members against one another.
AQHA Corporate Partner Wrangler is the official jeans and shirts of AQHA, and the company makes a donation of $20,000 in the name of the winning team to the American Quarter Horse Foundation scholarship fund. Team members also received $1,000 each.
Members of the 2009 Team Cowboy Cut were team captain G.R. Carter, Chris Arentsen, Vicky Holt, Doug Leasor, Linda Crothers, Joni Nelson, Kimberly Reynolds, Mark Wray, Steve Orth, Teddy Johnson, Wesley Giles and Stacy Charette-Hill.

Team Cowboy Cut: Bobby Lewis – captain, Kevin Stallings, Wes Giles, Ralph Muniz, Freddie Martinez, Randy Jacobs, Tommy Sheets, Doug Leasor, Lainie DeBoer, Rhonda Spratto, J.D. Yates and Tom Robertson.
Team Riata: Jason Martin – captain, Lance Graves, Alfred Hewitt, Beth Case, Brad Lund, Teddy Johnson, Jamie Gomez, Paul Jones, Cody Jensen, Jack Brizendine, Charlie Cole and Jim TenHove.
