It’s time to celebrate!

Dozer Montgomery celebrated his second birthday on November 7 at the World Show.

There’s always plenty of jubilation going on in the AQHA World Show arena and stands when the awards are handed out. But behind the scenes in the barns are also a number of celebrations as milestones are marked.

Take for example AQHA Professional Horseman Laine DeBoer’s 16th wedding anniversary, which was November 6, and it’s never hard to find a cake at the show as exhibitors, trainers and even dogs celebrate their birthdays.

Team Wrangler member Doug Leasor celebrated his birthday by riding in the junior pole bending finals. And it was the second birthday of AQHA’s official World Show photographer K.C. Montgomery’s bulldog, Dozer, who shared cake with his human friends. He even got a few presents, like an iBone, which came with apps like iBark.

So happy anniversary, Lainie! Happy birthday, Doug! And thanks for the cake, Dozer! Here’s to another year of celebrating at the World Show!
