The Congress has got way out of our budget to attend. The prices have gone up and the offering has declined as far as shopping. The food alone is not something a family of 3 or 4 can afford. Has anyone except me heard about the recession going on??????

3 of my friends and I came up as we have in years past. Thank goodness the rodeo saved the trip because there were no clinics, no demos...where was Clinton Anderson? Monty Roberts family? Anybody? If we don't get the clinics we might as well just go to Vegas for Cowboy Christmas and rodeo.
nothing
The vendors were okay, but to get excited about. Boot selection was sad, hat selection was non-existent, high end cowgirl gear...not good. We go to buy and we came home with several things on our list not bought.

My husband and I were there during the 2nd weekend (Oct. 10,22) and it didn't seem as "wow" as previous years. Fewer vendors, no demos or clinics. We always enjoy it but this year wasn't quite as spectacular as before and we've gone every year for the last 8 years.
