AQHA Professional Horsemen and judges were among the clinicians Monday for the American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup. They talked about horsemanship, western riding and hunter under saddle. Here are a few tips:

In horsemanship, sit squarely to give your horse a chance to be square, says AQHA judge Robin Frid.

In hunter under saddle, practice good equitation and keep your elbows soft, says AQHA Professional Horseman Andy Moorman.

In western riding, maintain forward motion, says AQHA Professional Horseman Charlie Cole.
